Principle / Structure
A rod mill is a continuous mill that feeds material from one end and removes it from the other.
A rod mill is a rolling mill that contains many metal rods inside. When raw materials are fed into the rod mill, the rotation causes the rods to collide with each other, crushing the raw materials through friction and pressure.
It is widely used for mineral chemical products and slag crushing, and plays an especially important role in iron ore and mineral processing.
It is only suitable for dry grinding applications, not wet applications.
The lining is made of high manganese steel, but please contact us if you would like a lining made of a different material.
