Principle/Structure
A roll crusher crushes raw materials by a powerful compression action generated between two rotating rolls. Alumina rolls are used as standard, and are used for coarse grinding of raw materials that dislike metals.
Alumina has a Mohs hardness of 9 and is highly abrasion resistant, so there is little contamination of raw materials and the purity of the product can be maintained. It is possible to grind raw materials with a Mohs hardness of 7 or less.
Since there is little wear, it is also effective against contamination. In addition, since the rolls grind at high speed, it exhibits high efficiency even though it is very small.
Roll material
The roll material can be changed according to your request.
The standard material for flat rolls and wave tooth rolls is alumina (ceramic).
We also have high manganese steel, high chromium steel, SS material, SUS material, HARDOX material, etc. (Please contact us for other materials.)
In addition, silicon nitride can be selected when durability and wear resistance are required more than alumina.
